Can I add the blocks and fabrics that I download from the QDW site to my QDW Library? 1. First, open the project that contains the fabrics you would like to add in Quilt Design Wizard. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have all of the fabrics from that project that you would like added to your Fabric Favorites. Then, to use those fabrics you've added, just click My Fabric Favorites and you'll see them displayed for you to use. The blocks can be added to the Block Favorites in the same way, just substitute the word Block for Fabric and follow the same steps. Can I scan my own fabrics and import them into QDW? When you are satisfied with the zoom in box, let go of the left mouse button. My quilt prints unnamed even though I’ve named my file. What’s wrong? To give the quilt a name, right-click on the quilt, and choose Notecard from the menu that appears. I can’t print my blocks. What do I do? On the Print tab, click on the block in the quilt that you would like to print the block or patterns for to select it. Then the program will know which block you would like a pattern for, and the print and preview buttons will be enabled. How do I export an image of my quilt? Quilt Design Wizard doesn't have the capability to export images. You could use the Windows "Print Screen" capability and paste that into your image program if you would like. Then you could save the image of your computer screen to whatever type of image file you would like through your image program. The basic steps would be: Is QDW compatible with Windows 7 and Vista? Yes, Quilt Design Wizard works just fine on Windows 7 and Vista. Quilt Design Wizard won't install. That message means that the dotnet program from Microsoft on your computer has stopped working properly. Quilt Design Wizard depends on this program to run.
